Will Address Lions Club On Monday Principal speaker at the weekly meeting of the Lions Club this Monday will be George H. Campbell of Omaha, who will address the group on diseases of the eye resulting in blindness, the effect ton the individual and eye safety according to program director Pete Lakers. Mr.

Campbell, who was totally blind for the first 18 years of his life and acquired his sight through a series of operations, has appeared before approximately 600 Lions Clubs speaking on this subject. He also appeared before the Nebraska State Optometrists Association convention held in Lincoln. Mr. Campbell is not professional in the field of ophthamology but having been a victim of total blindness for so many years, it was only natural that he should make a study of the field. Through practical experience and research, he has become one of the few lay authorities on the subject.

M. Staroscik of Columbus, died Feb. 23 at a Minneapolis hospital. She had been in failing health for several years. The Rev.

Fr. John P. Cleary officiate at the services and burial was in St. Anthony cemetery in Minneapolis. Mrs.

Nosal, the former Anna Briggs, was born March 20, 1875. Her marriage to Mark Nosal took place Nov. 24, 1893 at St. Mary's church (Pilzno) near Osceola. In later years, she and her family lived at Kennebec, S.

and Barnesville, Minn. She is survived by her husband; two sons, Joe of Barnesville, Minn. and Frank of Fergus Falls, seven daughters, Mrs. Ray (Monica) Brocke, Mrs. Melbert (Victoria) Lenander, Mrs.
