Mayme Elizabeth Flaxel, 83, who died Monday at the IOOF Home in York, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Bellwood Methodist Church. The Rev. C. H.

Prouty will officiate and burial will be in Bellwood Cemetery. I Funeral Home of York is in charge of arrangements. She was born April 21,1886, at Unionville, the daughter of Hugh and Mary Bacus Waite, and was married to John Flaxel April 23, 1923. Mrs. Flaxel was a resident of Bellwood for 45 years before moving to the IOOF Home in York in 1964.

Her husband died there in 1965, and she was also preceded in death by a son, Wil'iam, parents, two sisters and three brothers. Survivors include daughters, Mrs. Roy Perzival of Scottsb'uff, Mrs. A. T.

Boyll of Terra Haute, and Mrs. B. W. Thoefe cf Columbus; eight grandchildren and 14 great- grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Nellie Severe of Austin, Utah.
